What is play therapy?
Play is a child's language. Play therapy helps children express their thoughts and problems.
What is the cost?
Your insurance company determines the cost based on your individual policy. Private pay (without insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare) is $100 per hour.
How long will counseling/therapy take?
Each case is evaluated on an individual basis. Each person progresses at a different rate. Please discuss this with your therapist.
As a parent, will I be involved in the sessions?
Regular parental input is needed to obtain the best results for your child. Our therapists use a team approach for all clients.
How soon can I see a therapist?
Generally within a week a week of your call, if you are willing to be flexible with regard to appointment time: frequently, appointments are available within 3 days.
Do you have a Doctor who will prescribes med's if needed?
Yes, Dr. Roisum and Zohner are our Clinic Physicians. We also refer to psychiatrists within the area.
Can we be reached in an emergency?
Yes, through our answering service.
Do you work and cooperate with other agencies in the community?
Yes, but you will need to sign a release of information form.
Is what we talk about confidential?
Yes, with a few exceptions which your therapist will explain.
